White Birch Barn can accommodate up to 200 guests in both the ceremony and reception locations.
To secure your date, a $1000 payment is required. Initial deposits are non-refundable. The remaining venue balance is split between two payments per your contract. Rescheduling and cancellation options are available as outlined per your contract.
The venue rental fee includes all tables and chairs for both the ceremony and the reception. It includes a 15 hour rental, beginning at 9 am and concluding at midnight. Events end at 11pm, and you must gather your belongings and leave the barn by midnight.
You may serve alcohol to your guests, however all alcohol must be purchased through our third party vendor for 2020 events. We also require the use of our bartenders. Alcohol policy is subject to change per state liquor laws. Please see coordinator for details.
We have a list of preferred vendors that we highly recommend and will make your day smooth and seamless! Our favorite caterers will make for a wonderful culinary experience; however you may choose to bring in any caterer you'd like. If you do so, we do ask that they make a site visit prior to your event.
There are indoor restroom facilities newly renovated in the original milk house. Our restrooms are handicap accessible.
Yes, we are handicap accessible. Our west side entrance is level and we do have a ramp available to access the upper dining area.
The White Birch Barn staff will set up the tables and chairs. You will have a final sit-down with your coordinator about 2-3 weeks from your event to discuss table placement and layout.
Typically, we will plan for an outdoor ceremony. In the event that the weather does not cooperate, we have the option to move the ceremony inside and our staff will do a room flip following the ceremony during your cocktail/appetizer hour. This is a complimentary service with your venue rental.
We hold ceremony rehearsals on Thursday evenings. We host weddings on both Fridays and Saturdays; therefore ceremony rehearsals must take place on Thursdays. Friday couples will rehearse at 5pm, Saturday couples will rehearse at 6pm. In the event that there is only one wedding that weekend, we may have the ability to move rehearsal times.
White Birch Barn does allow your furry family members to be a part of your special day. We do ask that you clean up after them.
We do allow sparkler send-offs at the west side entrance only.
Yes, we do require our clients to purchase day-of special event insurance. Host liquor liability is required. Speak to your insurance carrier. Please see a coordinator if you have questions.
White Birch Barn offers the option for a day-of event coordinator for an additional $350. We do highly recommend that you hire one of our coordinators to make your day as seamless and memorable as possible!
Yes! We love when couples bring in their own touches or DIY projects! Just be sure to run your ideas by your coordinator to make sure it is White Birch approved. We do not allow faux rose petals, confetti, or anything that would litter the property. Candles are permitted if they are enclosed inside of a lantern, floating candles, or candles inside of a glass votive. Open pillar candles must be battery operated.
Yes! We do have table linens and linen napkins available in a variety of colors. We also offer ceiling drapery for a fee. Please speak to a coordinator for details.
White Birch Barn is conveniently located about 15 minutes from the nearest hotels. The Holiday Inn Express and the Fairfield Marriott in Medina are popular options!
